Is there an age requirement?
Yes, drivers must be 16 years old and present a valid ID. All drivers must sign a release of liability waiver. Drivers that are 16 years or 17 years old must have a parent or guardian present to sign a release waiver.
What if I’m old enough but I don’t have an ID, can I still race?
Customers that cannot present a form of ID will not be allowed to race. ProTrack will accept a picture copy of an ID if a customer is not able to present a physical ID.
Are flip flops or sandals okay to wear?
No, all drivers must wear closed-toe shoes to race. ProTrack has closed-toe shoes available for customers to wear at no additional cost.
Are helmets required?
Yes, all drivers must wear a full-face helmet. ProTrack will provide a helmet with race purchase.
Can I wear my own helmet?
Yes, customers can wear their own DOT full-face helmet.
Long hair...
ProTrack will not allow customers to drive if they have long hair or braids that hang past their waist. It is a serious concern that hair at that length will get caught on something in the motor or around the axle. Our karts reach 30mph so things happen quickly and the kart could literally pull the hair from your head, or worse. If you do not believe that this is a real issue, do an internet search for "go-kart scalping" … it is a situation that we never want to deal with. In the past, we have had long hair come untied and are no longer willing to take the risk. We appreciate your understanding with this rule.
How long is each race?
Each go-kart race is 8 minutes. Customers usually range from 10-14 laps per race depending on how fast they drive.
Do you offer Military Discounts?
Yes, ProTrack offers special Military Discounts. Present a valid ID to the cashier at the time of purchase.
What happens if it rains?
In the event of rain, ProTrack will continue to operate as long as possible but may close down until it is safe to reopen. If your race was ended early, a race credit will be added back onto your account. No refunds. Unused race(s) do not expire and can be used at any time.
Is the ProTrack open year-round?
No, ProTrack is not open year-round. ProTrack is open daily April thru Columbus Day Monday in October. Hours are weather permitting. Hours of operation and available tracks and attractions vary throughout the year. Please see our Hours for current attractions open.
Do you offer Group Discounts?
Yes, ProTrack offers discounts for groups of 12 or more people. Groups must be booked 48 hours prior to reservation time and require a deposit at time of booking. Contact us for more information.
