Some group outings are just dinner with extra steps. Racing is different. ProTrack is Ocean City's only 30 MPH go-kart track: more than a third of a mile of real racing built for drivers 16 and up, a natural fit for corporate events, team building days, clubs, and reunions. The format could not be simpler: everybody races the same track, and the clock does the ranking.
Group Discounts for 12 or More
Groups of 12 or more qualify for group discounts. Book at least 48 hours ahead and put down a deposit, then show up ready to race. Contact us or call (443) 944-7173 to set it up.
Fewer than 12? No booking needed. It's arrive and drive: walk in, sign the waiver, helmet up, and get on track. Racing runs $30 for 1 race, $55 for 2, or $75 for 3, per person with tax included.
Why Racing Works for Team Building
Everyone runs the same track, so lap times are the great equalizer. The quiet analyst can outdrive the sales VP, and the RaceFacer scoreboards will announce it trackside in real time.
Heats are 8 minutes, typically 10 to 14 laps. Run one race as an icebreaker, or stack up to three and let an office rivalry take root. Everyone registers once at the RaceFacer kiosk, and lap times carry over between visits, so next year's outing starts with standings to defend.

The track sits at Grand Prix Amusements, 12424 Ocean Gateway on Route 50 in Ocean City, MD, just over the Route 50 bridge. If you're searching for group activities near Ocean Pines, Berlin, or Bishopville, ProTrack is an easy Route 50 run, and crews come down from Fenwick Island, DE too. From in town, merge onto Route 50 West, cross the bridge, go through 4 traffic lights, and turn left at the median. Open daily April through Columbus Day, 10am to 11pm, weather permitting, and hours vary through the season.
